Defense committee on friend station and other full form of DCOR specification participate in below mentioned topic. There are 14 different meanings of DCOR acronym from the above table that are a compilation of DCOR terms such as Military, Operations, Logistics, Support etc. terms. The DCOR is generally used in all military field to mean the department of defense.
The military refers to the department of military forces. The military force consists of Army, Navy and Marine Corps. The operation, support and logistics support are the key feature in the military meaning of the term. The other term DCOR for military is “Fiscal Operations”.
The military term DCOR for commercial has to do with supply-chain operations in the commercial field. It means the process of designing, building and providing services in the commercial field. The other term DCOR for operational level is “Full Life Support System”.
Operations support means the tactical support that is required for operations. Support also provides a clear picture in terms of maintenance, provision of supplies etc. in operational level. The terms for operational level are” Tactical Support” and” Operations Support”. Logistics support also means “warehousing/ logistical direction”.
Theater Support System:
Other popular acronyms of DCOR are ACOR (Aspects, Command and Staff Control), ACOU (Aspects, Communications, Electronic Control and Electronic Systems), ARM (Ballistic missile interceptor), BAN (Ballistic anti-aircraft missile) and CCF (Combat flight). Another term is DCO (Defense Command and Staff). Another popular term is DCS (Defense Combat system). Many defense contractors use the DCS acronym when referring to their system of system integration.
Another term is MIDS (Mobile Data Interface). This is a system integration term. This term is used for things like MIDS-Missions Critical, Mobile Information Integration System and Mobile Infrastructure. A military operation may have a term like Military Operations System, Gear Up or Theater Support System.
DCOR operations:
Another way of thinking of DCOR is as an operations cell. This is a cell that controls all logistics activities for a given operation. DCOR operations cells can be thought of as a map for any given supply chain operation.
Think of the DCOR operations cell as a map of all possible echelons of the organization. It is made up of various departments that are geographically linked to each other. For example, all military personnel are located in a common geographical location (let’s say Campigny, France) and all production facilities are located in a common geographic location (let’s say Shanksville, Ohio). DCORs can also include non-geographically linked elements like financial operations, human resources, inventory and distribution.
Some think tanks have suggested that there is a DCOR equivalent to a MIDA (Mathematics, Access, Analysis, Design) approach that makes it more obvious where problems are developing. In other words, we need to think of a DCOR as being like an “A” board with all the different pieces on it like a puzzle. A DCOR needs to be linked together into a clear picture of the supply chain and operations. This is what a good DCOR analysis tool does.
